Noise breakout from process pipework can be extremely hazardous to site employees in industrial and offshore environments. Increasingly government legislation has targeted organisations to take measures to lower these levels, leading to the implementation of standards such as ISO 15665 - "Acoustic Insulation for pipes, valves and flanges".
Armacell subsequently pioneered the development of a range of acoustic elastomeric foam insulation materials with high performance sound absorption properties.
The primary component of our acoustic systems is our ArmaSound RD 240 material which offers:

- Suitable for some applications that require an acoustic airborne noise barrier
- A much greater density at reduced thicknesses over traditional acoustic absorption materials
